Can I re-schedule my court date?

Okay so I got a ticket for running a stop sign (I didn't see it but whatever, I ran it), and my court appearance is scheduled for June 29, 4:00 PM. I was wondering if I can get it rescheduled? Or does it have to be then? Oh, and will they reduce the fine if I show up? I live in the state of Oregon. I've had my license for about 3 and a half months.
